Leasing Manager manages and oversees the rental of apartment units to facilitate maximum occupancy and high renewal rates. Develops policies and procedures to ensure compliant, ethical, and efficient leasing operations. Being a Leasing Manager oversees the completion of all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service. May coordinate promotions to increase tenancy numbers and occupancy rates. Additionally, Leasing Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Leasing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Leasing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
