Requirements and Responsibilities

Licensing Specialist III maintains records, compiles information, and submits forms in order to keep agents licensed. Coordinates with applicants, state agencies, and the corporate licensing department to ensure timely and efficient license acquisition and renewal. Being a Licensing Specialist III ensures compliance with organization policies and government regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Licensing Specialist III typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Licensing Specialist III works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be a Licensing Specialist III typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may need 2 years experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
