Requirements and Responsibilities

Logistics Planner IV is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing plans related to the storage, movement, and distribution of goods and materials within a supply chain. Analyzes supply chain functions to identify areas for improvement and proposes strategies to reduce costs and delivery times. Being a Logistics Planner IV monitors inventory levels and makes adjustments to logistics plans as needed. Continuously evaluates logistics performance to enhance service delivery and meet organizational goals. Additionally, Logistics Planner IV requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Logistics Planner IV work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Logistics Planner IV typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
