Requirements and Responsibilities
Machine Operator Senior Manager manages and oversees the work of employees who set up and operate machines. Develops policies and processes to ensure safe and effective machine operation. Being a Machine Operator Senior Manager ensures machine function and output are in accordance with specifications and quality standards. Monitors and evaluates production records and reports findings to management. Additionally, Machine Operator Senior Manager coordinates routine and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime. Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for equipment and machinery. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a director. The Machine Operator Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Machine Operator Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
