Requirements and Responsibilities
Machine Operator Senior Supervisor supervises and coordinates the work of employees who set up and operate machines. Prepares work schedules and delegates workflow. Being a Machine Operator Senior Supervisor ensures machine function and output are in accordance with specifications and quality standards. Monitors and evaluates production records and reports findings to management. Additionally, Machine Operator Senior Supervisor may assist with training machine operators. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Machine Operator Senior Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Machine Operator Senior Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
