Machine Technician performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on industrial machinery to ensure reliable production operations. Sets up, installs, calibrates, and tests production line machinery. Being a Machine Technician adjusts mechanical and electrical components to maintain equipment performance and reduce downtime. Conducts routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and part replacements as required. Additionally, Machine Technician maintains maintenance logs and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Machine Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
