Requirements and Responsibilities
Manufacturing Total Quality Supervisor supervises daily QMS activities within the manufacturing environment to ensure adherence to company and regulatory quality standards. Oversees internal audit programs, CAPA processes, and document control systems to maintain compliance with ISO and customer requirements. Being a Manufacturing Total Quality Supervisor monitors quality performance metrics and supports root cause analysis to drive corrective and preventive actions. Guides and trains team members on QMS procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements. Additionally, Manufacturing Total Quality Supervisor coordinates with production and engineering teams to ensure consistent application of quality practices across all manufacturing processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Manufacturing Total Quality Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Manufacturing Total Quality Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
