Material Forecasting Analyst II develops, validates, and maintains material demand forecasts and models based on production schedules, bills of materials, and consumption patterns. Analyzes material demand requirements to support production planning, procurement, and inventory optimization. Being a Material Forecasting Analyst II monitors inventory levels, lead times, and usage trends to identify shortages or excess risks. Collaborates with production planning, procurement, and suppliers to align material availability with demand signals. Additionally, Material Forecasting Analyst II monitors forecast accuracy and material availability metrics to support continuous improvement. Prepares material demand reports and recommendations for planners and buyers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Material Forecasting Analyst II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Material Forecasting Analyst II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
