Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist II is responsible for the timely and efficient flow of materials required to meet production schedules and customer demand. Develops, monitors, and maintains material requirement planning (MRP) systems to plan for demand, manage inventory levels, and coordinate procurement and production activities. Being a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist II analyzes data to forecast material needs and collaborates with suppliers, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery. May support process improvements, system accuracy, and planning efficiency to enhance overall supply chain reliability and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist II requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
