Requirements and Responsibilities

Medicare Program Development Manager manages the development and execution of Medicare program initiatives to support product growth and operational readiness. Coordinates cross-functional workstreams to translate program concepts into detailed requirements and deliverables. Being a Medicare Program Development Manager analyzes performance, market, and regulatory data to support program design decisions. Ensures program deliverables align with CMS requirements and internal standards. Additionally, Medicare Program Development Manager supports leadership by preparing business cases, documentation, and stakeholder communications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Medicare Program Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Medicare Program Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
