Requirements and Responsibilities

Member Education Supervisor supervises the daily operations of education programs that reflect the organization's mission and support the needs of its members and public community. Assists with organizing and planning educational seminars, workshops, or courses. Being a Member Education Supervisor implements operational policies and standard procedures to optimize the scheduling and registration processes and promote participation. Provides guidance to members and researches and resolves complex questions or concerns. Additionally, Member Education Supervisor screens educational resources to ensure clear, accurate, and relevant information and recommends improvements. Reviews feedback from member surveys or questionnaires and identifies insights to implement into educational processes, programs, or resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Member Education Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Member Education Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
