Requirements and Responsibilities

Midrange Programmer IV reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's business applications. Gathers requirements from users and creates specifications and develops code. Being a Midrange Programmer IV designs and writes codes to support existing application. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Midrange Programmer IV typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Midrange Programmer IV typically requires 7+ years of related experience. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group.
