Network Operations Technician I monitors and supports network operations within a Network Operations Center (NOC) to maintain the availability and performance of network systems. Monitors network systems, alarms, and dashboards to detect and respond to service issues. Being a Network Operations Technician I performs first-level troubleshooting and resolution of network incidents. Escalates unresolved or complex issues to specialists and engineering teams. Additionally, Network Operations Technician I documents incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in ticketing systems. Executes routine maintenance tasks and configuration changes as directed. Follows established procedures to ensure timely response and service restoration. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Network Operations Technician I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
