Requirements and Responsibilities

Office Automation Manager evaluates and implements office automation equipment and peripherals to boost productivity and efficiency. Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment and software to ensure smooth daily operations. Being an Office Automation Manager monitors the development and execution of training and provides advanced end user support to drive adoption and effective use. Coordinates with other business functions to identify potential opportunities to facilitate organizational improvement and success. Additionally, Office Automation Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Office Automation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Office Automation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.
