Requirements and Responsibilities
Online Pharmacy Manager manages the team responsible for compounding and dispensing prescribed drugs for online or mail order prescriptions. Monitors and maintains the daily operations. Being an Online Pharmacy Manager ensures all required pharmacy data is recorded correctly, maintained accurately, and complies with all regulatory procedures. Develops, implements, monitors and quality control standards. Additionally, Online Pharmacy Manager may require a doctorate degree in pharmacy. May require Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Typically reports to a director. The Online Pharmacy Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Online Pharmacy Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
