Payroll Administrator I is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and distribution of payroll via the payroll system. Reviews the computation of pay and ensures the company payroll policies are in accordance with the government regulations. Being a Payroll Administrator I responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks. May coordinate payroll with outside service provider. Additionally, Payroll Administrator I requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a Payroll Manager. The Payroll Administrator I work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Payroll Administrator I typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
