Payroll Services Manager manages the team responsible for providing accurate and timely payroll services to clients. Monitors and oversees all aspects of the client's payroll process and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Being a Payroll Services Manager makes recommendations to standardize and streamline the client's payroll processes and procedures. Maintains and manages client relationships. Additionally, Payroll Services Manager may respond to and resolve escalated payroll issues and inquiries. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Payroll Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
