Requirements and Responsibilities

Permit Coordinator is responsible for evaluating permit applications. Responds to inquiries regarding permit requirements, fees, and documentation. Being a Permit Coordinator issues permits in compliance with set policies and procedures. Informs applicants of approval or denial. Additionally, Permit Coordinator maintains log of permit status. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Permit Coordinator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Permit Coordinator typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
