Requirements and Responsibilities

Pharmacokinetics Scientist IV studies how drugs are absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and excreted (ADME) in the body to optimize dosing, safety, and effectiveness. Responsible for the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of experimental findings. Being a Pharmacokinetics Scientist IV uses data analysis and modeling to guide drug development from preclinical stages through clinical trials and regulatory submissions. Maintains substantial knowledge of pharmacokinetics best practices and theories. Additionally, Pharmacokinetics Scientist IV requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Pharmacokinetics Scientist IV work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
