Requirements and Responsibilities

Pharmacokinetics Scientist V studies how drugs are absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and excreted (ADME) in the body to optimize dosing, safety, and effectiveness. Responsible for the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of experimental findings. Being a Pharmacokinetics Scientist V uses data analysis and modeling to guide drug development from preclinical stages through clinical trials and regulatory submissions. Maintains substantial knowledge of pharmacokinetics best practices and theories. Additionally, Pharmacokinetics Scientist V requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Pharmacokinetics Scientist V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be a Pharmacokinetics Scientist V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
