Being a Phlebotomist may conduct intake interviews, take vital signs, and draw blood samples at a blood bank. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Phlebotomist typically requires certification by a nationally recognized body. Typically reports to a supervisor. Phlebotomist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
