Requirements and Responsibilities

Product Complaint Supervisor supervises the team that handles the intake, triage, investigation, and reporting of product complaints. Monitors and reviews investigation findings to ensure the appropriate risk classification is assigned and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies. Being a Product Complaint Supervisor analyzes data and reviews recommendations and solutions based on the investigation's findings. Maintains and monitors systems to ensure that all product complaint investigations received are appropriately investigated and concluded per the organization's complaint handling procedure. Additionally, Product Complaint Supervisor may handle more complex complaints. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Product Complaint Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Product Complaint Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
