Product Quality Senior Supervisor supervises product quality control and inspection activities for manufactured products, ensuring adherence to internal standards and external regulations. Oversees daily inspection and testing operations across production lines and finished goods areas. Being a Product Quality Senior Supervisor coordinates work assignments, schedules, and training for quality control analysts and inspectors. Reviews quality data, inspection results, and nonconformance reports to identify systemic issues and recommend corrective actions. Additionally, Product Quality Senior Supervisor ensures proper use and calibration of inspection tools, gauges, and testing equipment. Implements quality procedures and supports continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Product Quality Senior Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Product Quality Senior Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
