Project Engineering Senior Supervisor supervises a team of design engineers, drafters, and technical staff working on assigned projects. Assists with the coordination and implementation of design activities and supports the development of technical solutions. Being a Project Engineering Senior Supervisor oversees day-to-day tasks related to product construction and testing to help ensure project goals are met. Escalates significant design or project issues to management. Additionally, Project Engineering Senior Supervisor tracks team progress and reports on performance against project timelines and goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Engineering Senior Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Project Engineering Senior Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
