Requirements and Responsibilities
Radio Frequency Engineer V designs, develops, and optimizes radio frequency (RF) systems used in wireless communications, radar, and other electronic applications. Performs system-level and component-level analysis, including simulation, testing, and tuning of antennas, amplifiers, filters, and circuits. Being a Radio Frequency Engineer V evaluates and troubleshoots RF performance issues such as interference, signal integrity, and power efficiency to ensure optimal operation and compliance with regulatory standards. Prepares technical documentation, including design specifications, testing reports, and component evaluations. Additionally, Radio Frequency Engineer V collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components into larger systems and support product development from concept through production. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Radio Frequency Engineer V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
