Respiratory Therapy Senior Manager oversees and manages the team that provides respiratory services. Plans and implements the overall respiratory care policies, procedures, and services. Being a Respiratory Therapy Senior Manager ensures that treatments are administered correctly and in accordance with prescribed care plans and regulatory standards. Requires an associate degree. Additionally, Respiratory Therapy Senior Manager requires Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Requires State License to practice. Typically reports to a director. The Respiratory Therapy Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
