Requirements and Responsibilities

RFP Supervisor supervises the team responsible for responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from potential clients. Ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals that help secure new business. Being a RFP Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to gather and verify the details needed for the proposal. Writes, edits, and organizes proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the organization's capabilities and branding, often customizing responses for unique inquiries. Additionally, RFP Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The RFP Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a RFP Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
