Requirements and Responsibilities

Risk Modeling Analyst I utilizes risk modeling techniques to identify, quantify, and forecast potential risk scenarios of an organization. Gathers and analyzes pertinent data to create or strengthen models that forecast risk exposure and help make informed business decisions. Being a Risk Modeling Analyst I continuously monitors the economic and business landscape to update, review, or validate models as new data becomes available. Collaborates with outside departments to gather information and communicate findings or recommendations of analysis. Additionally, Risk Modeling Analyst I defines, documents, and summarizes methodologies, assumptions, and results of risk models and prepares reports for management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Risk Modeling Analyst I work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Risk Modeling Analyst I typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
