SCADA Technologist II is responsible for providing broader system integration, software configuration, and technical design to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and hardware. Configures Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software screens, manages data flows, integrates new software packages into existing layouts, and plans system upgrades. Being a SCADA Technologist II requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or similar field. May require formal certification or registration. Additionally, SCADA Technologist II typically reports to a manager. The SCADA Technologist II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a SCADA Technologist II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
