Requirements and Responsibilities

Semiconductor Engineer V formulates and optimizes semiconductor devices and manufacturing processes. Conducts process analysis, implements design enhancements, and collaborates on new technology development to meet production and performance goals. Being a Semiconductor Engineer V supports the fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of integrated circuits, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance chip performance, reliability, and efficiency. Additionally, Semiconductor Engineer V requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a manager. The Semiconductor Engineer V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be a Semiconductor Engineer V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
