Requirements and Responsibilities

Supply Chain Analyst I gathers and analyzes data to develop insights used for the optimization of the organization's supply chain operations. Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain by analyzing costs, capacity, and demand patterns. Being a Supply Chain Analyst I continuously reviews the movement of materials and other supply chain processes to identify sources of problems and to develop suggestions for solutions. Prepares reports or dashboards to provide reliable activity data to stakeholders. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst I monitors suppliers for contract compliance. May assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supply Chain Analyst I work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Supply Chain Analyst I typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
