Requirements and Responsibilities

Supply Chain Consulting Manager manages a team of consultants responsible for providing strategic and operational supply chain expertise to clients. Helps clients optimize their end-to-end supply chain performance by analyzing current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending solutions that enhance procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution effectiveness. Being a Supply Chain Consulting Manager develops and implements strategies for clients to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance supply reliability. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Supply Chain Consulting Manager typically reports to a director. The Supply Chain Consulting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Supply Chain Consulting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
