Requirements and Responsibilities

SVP of Medicaid Program Development leads the enterprise strategy and executive oversight of Medicaid program development to drive growth, compliance, and improved outcomes for Medicaid populations. Directs the design and expansion of Medicaid managed care programs aligned with state contracts, regulatory requirements, and enterprise objectives. Being an SVP of Medicaid Program Development partners with clinical, network, and operations leadership to define program models, benefit structures, and value-based care strategies. Establishes long-term program roadmaps and evaluates state procurement, policy, and market trends to guide investment. Additionally, SVP of Medicaid Program Development represents Medicaid programs to executive leadership, the board, and state agency stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The SVP of Medicaid Program Development manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes/implements overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. To be an SVP of Medicaid Program Development typically requires 10+ years of progressive leadership experience. Has extensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.
