Terminal Operations Supervisor
Terminal Operations Supervisor supervises the operations of a storage/distribution terminal associated with a plant. Coordinates loading, unloading, monitoring, and maintenance activities. Being a Terminal Operations Supervisor ensures delivery schedules are met and communicates changes or delays to shippers and customers. Implements all required safety policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure secure and safe operations. Additionally, Terminal Operations Supervisor prepares and reviews reports related to shipments and inventory. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Terminal Operations Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Terminal Operations Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
