Transportation Analyst I analyzes transportation metrics to evaluate costs, improve processes, and maximize operational efficiency. Researches and identifies the most appropriate modes and routes for the transportation of products or materials considering factors such as distance, weight, size, and time. Being a Transportation Analyst I evaluates freight rates, fuel surcharges, and operational costs to identify cost-saving opportunities. Audits transportation processes to identify inefficiencies and ensure activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, Transportation Analyst I collaborates with supply and logistics teams to understand constraints and accurately plan and schedule deliveries. Requires a bachelor's degree.
