Requirements and Responsibilities

Trust Operations Clerk is responsible for clerical and administrative duties to support the daily operations of a trust function. Implements policies and frameworks to process and track transactions, including deposits, fees, distributions, and payments. Being a Trust Operations Clerk maintains and updates databases to ensure accurate customer details, account documents, and statements. Ensures trust activities and reporting comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Additionally, Trust Operations Clerk prepares operational reports to summarize trust performance and provide insights to management. Requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Trust Operations Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Trust Operations Clerk typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
