UX Design Supervisor supervises a team of UX designers that create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences by understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations. Monitors user research and usability testing to guide development of wireframes, prototypes, and new features. Being a UX Design Supervisor requires knowledge of visual design and wireframing/prototyping tools. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, UX Design Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The UX Design Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a UX Design Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
