Requirements and Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Supervisor supervises visual merchandising execution to ensure brand standards are consistently and effectively applied. Oversees daily visual merchandising activities and provides direction to visual merchandisers or store teams. Being a Visual Merchandising Supervisor reviews visual presentation to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and seasonal directives. Coordinates visual resets, floor moves, and promotional setups to meet business timelines. Additionally, Visual Merchandising Supervisor trains and coaches team members on visual merchandising techniques and best practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Visual Merchandising Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Visual Merchandising Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
