Water Quality Control Lab Manager manages the operations of a water quality control laboratory to ensure accurate testing and analysis in support of regulatory compliance. Directs laboratory testing programs for water and wastewater quality analysis. Being a Water Quality Control Lab Manager ensures laboratory procedures comply with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols. Manages laboratory staff, budgets, equipment, and supplies. Additionally, Water Quality Control Lab Manager oversees quality control, calibration, and accreditation requirements. Reviews and validates analytical results and compliance reports. Develops and implements laboratory policies, procedures, and safety programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Water Quality Control Lab Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.
