Data Governance Supervisor supervises daily activities related to the quality, security, and maintenance of organizational data. Implements data policies and procedures, monitors data accuracy, and ensures compliance with defined standards. Being a Data Governance Supervisor works closely with team members to perform routine tests on data systems and supports frontline troubleshooting. Supports the manager in enforcing data governance frameworks and contributes to maintaining high data quality standards to meet business needs. Additionally, Data Governance Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Governance Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Data Governance Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
