Demand Planning Manager manages an organization's demand planning and forecasting activities to support production operations, supply chain execution, and business objectives. Oversees forecasting methodologies, tools, and assumptions to improve forecast accuracy, reduce variability, and ensure responsiveness to changing business or market conditions. Being a Demand Planning Manager evaluates forecast performance to identify bias, bad assumptions, or missing information and recommends corrective actions. Collaborates with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to incorporate promotional activity, seasonality, and market intelligence forecasts into operational planning.
