Requirements and Responsibilities

Field Service Engineer II installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment. Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Being a Field Service Engineer II research and answer customer questions about product features, issues and upgrades. Performs start up testing and customer training on features and general maintenance of product. Additionally, Field Service Engineer II has solid knowledge of the organization's products and services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Field Service Engineer II gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. To be a Field Service Engineer II typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
