Requirements and Responsibilities

Gas Supply Manager is responsible for obtaining the necessary supplies of gas to meet company needs. Negotiates contracts with approved sources and sees contracts through to completion, ensuring all stipulations are met. Being a Gas Supply Manager is responsible for proper transportation and storage of gas supplies. Maintains business relationships with suppliers. Additionally, Gas Supply Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Gas Supply Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Gas Supply Manager typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
