Requirements and Responsibilities

Industrial Engineer V designs industrial equipment and machine layouts to optimize production activities, minimize costs, and ensure products meet quality standards. Develops and maintains manufacturing routes for maximizing space, efficiency, and effectiveness, ensuring full utilization of resources. Being an Industrial Engineer V collaborates with production teams to understand processes and identify best practices and sequence of operations. Utilizes simulation and modeling tools to statistically analyze and test process changes. Additionally, Industrial Engineer V ensures compliance with industry safety standards and design guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Industrial Engineer V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be an Industrial Engineer V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
