Requirements and Responsibilities

Laboratory Assistant III performs research activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment. Records observations and measurements and reports results. Being a Laboratory Assistant III is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining cleanrooms and equipment. Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, and ordering and stocking of materials and equipment. Additionally, Laboratory Assistant III may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Laboratory Assistant III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Laboratory Assistant III typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.
