Requirements and Responsibilities

Multimedia Services Manager manages a staff of technical production specialists that contribute to and produce multi-platform communications including broadcast, web, social media, and print. Oversees and coordinates graphic design, copywriting, production, and printing processes. Being a Multimedia Services Manager implements policies, procedures, and guidelines for producing media content. Familiar with software tools including the Adobe Creative Suite - Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Additionally, Multimedia Services Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Multimedia Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Multimedia Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.
