Product/Brand Management Supervisor guides and manages a product's lifecycle to ensure profitability and increase brand presence and awareness. Analyzes market trends and customer behavior to forecast demand and profitability for potential products and drive branding and marketing strategies. Being a Product/Brand Management Supervisor tracks and monitors product or brand profitability metrics such as expenses, sales, and ROI and produces routine reports for management. Coordinates workload and designates tasks or projects to a team of analysts. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Supervisor collaborates with marketing and product development departments to ensure business and customer needs are incorporated. Acts as point of guidance for complex or unusual issues. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Product/Brand Management Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Product/Brand Management Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
