Requirements and Responsibilities

Production Trainer trains assembly and production workers at workstations and in the classroom. Assists in developing new training or methods of training. Being a Production Trainer requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Trainer works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be a Production Trainer typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may need 2 years experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
