Requirements and Responsibilities

Wafer Process Technician II performs tests and experiments required for wafer processing. Sets up processing equipment and performs minor adjustments to equipment within guidelines. Being a Wafer Process Technician II designs and executes test runs and disseminates results to facilitate engineering designs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Wafer Process Technician II typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wafer Process Technician II gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. To be a Wafer Process Technician II typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
