Requirements and Responsibilities

Web Administrator II administers and maintains the organization's websites. Monitors site traffic and performance and recommends changes in the site's technical architecture to ensure that the website remains responsive and stable. Being a Web Administrator II maintains related hardware and software, installs upgrades, and resolves system errors as they arise. Ensures the website is properly integrated with related computer systems and back-end processes. Additionally, Web Administrator II typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Web Administrator II work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Web Administrator II typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.
